From the 19th to the 25th of April, the vibrant streets of Cagliari were buzzing with the energy of enthusiastic learners from various backgrounds and experiences.

They came together to learn about media literacy, the art of spotting fake news, and how to do fact-checking. The training course provided them with theoretical knowledge and practical skills that they could use to design and deliver engaging and informative workshops for young people.

The youth workers engaged in lively discussions and activities to explore the intricacies of media manipulation techniques and how to identify credible sources of information. They were empowered to question their own biases and beliefs while learning about the various aspects of media that influence society. The course also delved into the topic of freedom of speech, and the youth workers had the opportunity to exchange ideas and opinions on the subject.

In the end, the training course was not just about gaining knowledge but also about fostering a community of like-minded individuals who shared a passion for empowering young people. The youth workers left Cagliari with a renewed sense of purpose and the confidence to run their own workshops. They were ready to make a positive impact on the world, armed with the knowledge and skills they acquired during their time in Sardinia.
