From October 13th to October 18th, 2024, we had the incredible opportunity to participate in the youth workers’ mobility program “A CHANGE IN EDUCATION – Empowering Youth Workers for Non-Formal Education” in the breathtaking mountains of Gerês, Portugal.
This project was designed to empower youth workers in non-formal education. Throughout the week, participants explored themes such as the art of questioning, learning through observation, and rediscovering the meaning of relationships.
Also, participants developed an e-book featuring a range of activities and innovative non-formal teaching methods they acquired. This e-book will serve as a valuable resource for advancing non-formal education.

Youth workers engaged in various non-formal activities that allowed them to communicate and learn from each other’s diverse experiences. Additionally, participants connected with nature and explored new cultures, making it a truly unforgettable experience.

“This was my first Erasmus+ experience, which greatly enhanced my communication and collaboration skills. It was a challenging yet rewarding experience, as everyone brought unique perspectives on education, reflecting the different approaches in each country. It was also a fantastic opportunity to step outside my comfort zone.”
